1 St Barbara’s Cathedral

2 Jesuit College (GASK)
This monumental Baroque block once housed a Jesuit school; today it hosts the GASK Gallery. From its terrace admire 13 statues of saints—Kutná Hora’s “mini Charles Bridge.”
3 Italian Court (Royal Mint)
The former royal mint where the famous Prague groschen was struck. Tour the chapel, minting exhibits and try coining your own silver replica.
4 Church of St James
Its 262‑ft (80 m) tower dominates the skyline. A planned twin tower was never built due to unstable ground, giving the church its asymmetrical charm.
5 Hrádek – Czech Museum of Silver

Built 1493‑1495 to secure clean water for locals. Its dodecagonal base and pinnacled décor by Matěj Rejsek resemble a tiny chapel in the square.
8 Sankturin House
A 13th‑century Gothic core enhanced by Renaissance sgraffito and Baroque tweaks. Today it hosts the tourist center and an alchemy exhibit in a stylish tower chapel.
9 Dačický House
Birthplace of Renaissance rogue Mikuláš Dačický. An interactive UNESCO center playfully shows why Kutná Hora ranks among the world’s urban treasures.
10 Plague Column of the Holy Trinity
Erected after the 1713 epidemic. Its rich sculpture work thanks the heavens for sparing the city, where thousands perished.
11 Corpus Christi Chapel
Its lower level served as an ossuary; the upper viewing chapel remained unfinished. The terrace offers one of the best angles on St Barbara’s.
12 Church of Our Lady on the Square
A miners’ parish that shelters Gothic altars and a 1500 pulpit. Each year a Mass honors St Barbara, patroness of miners.
13 Convent of St Ursula
A Baroque jewel by architect Kilian I. Dientzenhofer. Inside, admire an elliptical staircase and 18th‑century frescoes by leading artists.
14 Black Tower
The lone survivor of the medieval walls shows the original fortifications’ layout. Its dark stone bears scars from 15th‑century fires.

17 Church of St John of Nepomuk

18 Spolkový House
This 1900 Neo‑Renaissance palace hosted balls, plays and debates. It still buzzes with culture and conferences.
19 Baroque Statue Gallery
The Jesuit College terrace lined with 13 saints, dubbed a “mini Charles Bridge.” The newest, St John of Nepomuk, arrived a year after his canonization.
20 Red House
A Renaissance residence wrapped in a legend of the walled‑in Rozina. Weather‑worn sgraffito hides the date of Ruthardka Street’s last big landslide.
21 House at the Owl
Spot the stone owl on the façade. Tradition says touching its beak brings alertness—give it a tap for good luck.
22 Dominican Monastery Site
Destroyed in the Hussite Wars of 1421, yet the district still bears the name “Klášter” (“Monastery”). Street cafés now echo old theological debates.
23 House at the Stone Bear
A corner house with a bear holding a coat of arms. Its polished paw proves visitors still believe in its lucky touch.
