Where you will play

Most of the time you will move around the centre of Žilina, where most of the treasures are located. In the north, the game area ends in Budatín Park right at the confluence of the Váh and Kysuca rivers. At the opposite side, you will probably end up at the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows. 

The game contains one more distant treasure at the wooden church of St. James. Teams that manage to answer the question correctly here will be duly rewarded with points.

Meeting point

The game can be started directly in Marian Square or in one of the parks. For instance, the SNP Park near the Slovan Hotel is suitable. There is even a small shelter in it, which can be used during bad weather. However, the opening of the game can be done almost anywhere. We will gladly come directly to your hotel.

In a scavenger hunt game, you choose your own route and plan which treasures to visit and in what order.

Who the game is suitable for

Thanks to its location, Žilina is a frequent tourist destination. In addition to hiking, it also offers a group raft trip with a view of the mountains.

You can use Treasure Hunt as a complement to your program or as an educational activity. The game will guide you around most of the local attractions and you will learn about them in an entertaining way.
